My stay was truly amazing, and the staff were undeniably the highlight. From the moment I checked in to my interactions with the cleaning and restaurant teams, every member of staff consistently exhibited excellent service. Their dedication truly made a difference. The only minor aspect that kept me from giving a perfect 10 was the showers, which weren't quite to my personal preference. However, this small detail didn't overshadow the overwhelmingly positive experience, largely thanks to the exceptional team.

I had an 8-week stay at Novotel Darwin CBD for work, and I was truly impressed by the high level of service from the staff. From check-in onwards, the team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to assist with a smile. Housekeeping was generally attentive and polite, keeping things tidy—though the carpet could definitely use some attention, as it seemed dirty and not well-maintained for a 4 star hotel. The bar team stood out with their fantastic cocktails, and the food was generally enjoyable, although the steak quality varied. I also would’ve appreciated more options like sirloin or rump cap. Despite those minor issues, the staff’s genuine hospitality really elevated the experience. It’s clear that great customer service is a strong focus here—I’d happily recommend it!

I spent 3 nights in this hotel while I was attending a work conference in Darwin. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning was very welcome. There was a slight damp smell to the room that was improved by running the ceiling fan. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. There was some confusion over whether breakfast was included in our room rate - we thought it was but some of my travelling companions were charged for breakfast. The breakfast offerings were reasonable. I had dinner at the restaurant on my first night and was given the wrong dish and had to wait a long time (and follow up with the staff) before I got the vegetarian penne I had ordered. It was below average and quite expensive for a pasta dish. There are many other dining options around the hotel where I was able to source better food, so it didn't have a big impact on my stay.
