Emerald Explorers Inn

This property advertises 4 star with a restaurant. Mmmmm. Restaurant is closed, sign on front door that reception is only opens at 2pm -6pm. Rooms are very dated, fridge was turned off, carpet dirty, beds are soft and collapse in the middle (need replacing), no doonas on bed just sheets. We stayed 2 nights and the bed was half made on the first morning by house keeping but nothing else was done. Rubbish wasn’t emptied , new towels were left on the bed but old linen was left behind. The dirty coffee cups, plates and cutlery not washed or replaced. Very disappointed would not book here again.

Management was very helpful had to be moved as the original room that we were given was not acceptable due to bad water marks on the carpet and the bathroom ceiling, new room was ok but a few issues, tv had one station no blanket on the bed glass slider hard to lock. This motel needs work.

Absolutely disgusted by decision one week out from the towns biggest event with my accommodation that was booked for 6 months to be cancelled, by a generic email not even a phone call. when i rang, the receptionist lied over the phone about other places to stay. The excuse was a extended contract, which is something that would have been known about longer than 1 week. Very disappointed.
