Ramada Resort by Wyndham Port Douglas

Exceeded expectations. Had one bedroom apartment. Lovely room with fully functioning kitchen and lots of space. Resort style accommodation with a games area for kids and a large lagoon style swimming pool. Very affordable rates as well considering it was high season in Port Douglas.

A very pleasant and cost-effective stay in Port Douglas. The location is great, set in a lush tropical environment and close to both the beach and town. Rooms are newly renovated, spacious, clean and comfortable, offering excellent value. Facilities are well maintained and the overall vibe is relaxed. Staff have been consistently polite, friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the polite but noticeable mention of Club Wyndham timeshare. It wasn’t overly pushy, but still felt unnecessary and slightly out of place. Overall, a solid choice and one I’d be happy to return to.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apt. Very clean and well appointed. Shower was great and so was the bed.. both big ticks for me.: most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. The pool was huge/ heated and had lots of room for everybody to lounge around. Only a 1 minute walk to the beach.. so much to like about this place. Only let down was having to organise clean towels and replacing coffee etc ourselves.. no daily service of the room. With 4 stars you shouldn’t be made to walk to reception to get coffee sachets or clean towels
