This hotel is newly renovated and it shows! The spa area is absolutely fabulous and the various areas of relaxing were really well done big congratulations to the architect who also designed this. From a spa design perspective it’s one of the most successful projects I have ever seen. Also big shout out to the kitchen. The food is extremely good, especially considering this is part of the price. It is not cheap, but located quite close to various skiing areas. Despite the fact that this is a children’s hotel it is also suitable just for adult only travelers. The only small remark I would have that I would’ve liked to have feather duvets and a better hairdryer. Also, the reception goes above and beyond to make your stay extra great. I was there for a birthday and they did a really good job on decorating and making us feel very special.

I was looking for the hotel with SPA and with comfortable location to get to ski slopes. I am happy that I made right choice . Hotel Ferienwelt Kesselgrub Altenmarkt is amazing. The SPA zone has different separate areas for family and for adults. There is mini aqua park for kids 0+, and it’s really amazing. We spent several hours in it for relax and rest after our skiing . I was happy that I could find a jogging track along the river and close to the hotel . Morning runnings were amazing. The food in the hotel restaurant is other story . Cousin is excellent. In the morning you can taste a lot of different type of breakfast - porridge, salmon, pancakes and other. There are fruits and vegetables also . In the evening you can have delicious dinner with meat or fish , and also if you are vegan you can find some high level cooking food . We were satisfied, and had a great holiday there . I hope we will come back again .

Good stuff first: What s stunning kids paradise. It's a little Treck away from the slopes but we just came to have a break from our own kids, and this hotel is absolutely perfect for that! Kids club opens 9am - 8pm, with Tues & Thurs 7.30am pick up (from your room (!!) to breakfast club! There is a climbing frame and a adventure climb within the kids club. And they got their own bowling and games room. The better yet: drinks and juices included throughout the day, all in kids friendly cups and plates. Buffet for kids at 'kids height' für breakfast, snack and dinner. The SPA: Full of slides, splash zone, indoor and outdoor pool as well as a little baby zone and outdoor waterfall. There is a bathing lake outside too but it was too covered in snow to see. Beautiful Adults only Spa zone on 4th floor and all the suits on the same floor are stunning. The town is 5min away and great for a little walk around. Now the letdown: Service is very slow, both at the bar and for room cleaning. We had to chase up reception 3 times to have our room cleaned and the tower rails fixed. The in room sauna looked nice but never worked either,or was never fixed. Most importantly, one of our girls fell over and hit her head open on the floor. When they finally got in touch with us, they never had mentioned the accident at all and no incident report was made. When mentioning it to the management, we got a very disinterested and nonchalant response back. Staff quality is always a big problem in those hotels, otherwise highly recommend for families!
