Hotel B&B Zur Schanz

Very pleasant place. - the employees were very friendly, warm and helpful. - We traveled with a toddler, there were play corners and a little playground downstairs. - the spa is very nice. - Breakfast is nice, good selection of fresh stuff & home made juice / local cheese etc. - Our room (Kaiserblick) was very pleasant: modern, clean, spacious, quiet. - We would absolutely come again. **** Good to know: - no elevator. - The hotel is located by a rather busy street, however if your rooms is facing the opposite side (away from the river - most rooms do, i believe) it’s rather quiet. * only breakfast available. Plenty good restaurants nearby though (driving distance)

Members of the hotel were kind and all the facilities were neat and tidy. It is obvious that crews are taking good care of them all. Unlike its antique exterior, the interior was modern, clean, and crisp. Breakfast menus also seemed to have been prepared with courtesy(although the choices were a bit limited), so hoping to visit again soon with my friends. Was one of memorable experiences I had in Austria🙂

My husband and I visited this place on a cycle trip across Europe. It was close to our bike route but a bit far from town but it was clean and it had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We had a big ski chalet style room. It had a flat screen TV, a hairdryer, shower gel and soap. They kindly let us store our ebikes in the garage. Breakfast was good, and varied. Staff were professional.
