Schlosspark Mauerbach Adults only

A fantastic experience. We stayed for 2 nights on the spa package. The spa, food and rooms were perfect. Spa was clean with enough space for everyone. Food was fresh, local and tasty. And the room was very clean, modern and well equipped. In addition, the staff were very professional and helpful, catering to any needs. Our highlight was the fact that the chef came out of his kitchen to discuss our dietary requirements directly with us. This is the first time such an instance has occurred for us and showed immense care for our dietary needs. 5 stars!

Not our first visit. Welcoming staff, attenting waiters and always clean premises (from lobby to spa area, restaurant to hotel rooms). Appreciate “adults only” tag.

Returning to Schlosspark in August 2023 was a letdown (previously visited a few times). The absence of a warm welcome was stark, with not even a smile from the staff upon arrival. This set a cold and unwelcoming tone for our stay. A significant discomfort was the hotel's decision to turn off the air conditioning during a sweltering August night, with temperatures around 28 degrees Celsius. This disregard for guest comfort was surprising and unacceptable. Our dinner experience was notably saved by a couple of very friendly and attentive waiters, whose service was a highlight in an otherwise disappointing visit. However, breakfast was a letdown with meals compromised by bugs and flies. This was not only unappetizing but also concerning, and it was disheartening to see that no staff took initiative to address this issue. The overall management and ambiance of the hotel seemed to have declined since our last visit, indicating it might be time to explore other adult-only hotels for future stays. Not recommended with this management.
