Nice spacious rooms, old though. Some has patio or small living with foyer. Staff cordial, however, available is only up to 8pm. I had G4 allotted which is way from main building. Post evening, access is thru lift And long way back. Clean toilets. Found 1-2 roaches. Make sure to close windows, otherwise, there will be mosquitoes. On the site parking for free. Seminar room available. Bar with drinks at reception, 8-10 min Walkable from city center. Over all good stay

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. The manager humiliated my daughter (first in the lobby and then in her office) over 5.9 euros in honor bar candy that my daughter never took. The confrontation was gratuitous. The hotel had already charged me for the candy, and I had paid. I didn't even notice the charge on my bill. After interrogating my daughter, the manager appeared to realize her accusation had been rash. She credited the petty sum and behaved as if she had made things right. Not a word of apology. The hotel video camera caught my daughter taking a beverage coaster from the honor bar. She collects them. The manager mistook the coaster for a chocolate bar. After the manager rubber hosed my daughter ("Are you sure? Do you swear?"), I confronted the woman. She said she didn't care about the money, which was manifestly untrue. Otherwise, she wouldn't have blown up an imagined petty theft. The manager said she believed my daughter's denial. But when pressed, she admitted that she didn't believe her and was just trying to dispose of the matter. "I did it for myself," she said. I told her I would give her hotel a bad write up on every customer review site. The manager said I was free to do as I wished. She said she did not read reviews or reply to them. She didn't care what customers thought. That's convenient because the Markus Sittikus provokes many unflattering thoughts. The hotel claims to be four-star, but it isn't. The property is seedy, outdated and overpriced. Management cuts every possible corner. The room decor: Late Soviet Union. There are no toiletries in the bathrooms. In a breathtaking attempt to turn miserliness into virtue, management says it omits them in order to protect the environment. Bathroom signs tell customers to ask for them at the front desk, but management hopes nobody will. Rooms are not cleaned daily. Mother Earth rejoices. Other missing four-star amenities: Pool, limousine service, restaurant, room service, bellhops, fitness center, toilet paper that doesn't scratch diamonds and furniture less than 40 years old. Deceiving customers so brazenly takes huge balls. Salzburg lederhosen must be roomy.

Hotel’s poor communication and ignorance causes min €350 loss – car towed While the hotel itself was pleasant, our 2-night New Year’s stay became a stressful ordeal due to misleading information and unhelpful staff. Their inadequate guidance led to our car being towed, resulting in over €350 financial loss. (Our booking was for Dec 31–Jan 2 2025, 2 rooms, each €700) We arrived at the hotel with a rental car and a baby, prioritizing parking option when booking. Though the hotel had no parking, they claimed to have a partnership with a nearby lot. We had 2 incidents both concerning parking due to misinformation from the hotel. Firstly, upon arrival, the hotel wrongly directed us to a parking lot they no longer had agreement with which led to us being entrapped in a dark underground parking for an hour. After “freeing” ourselves, we were later directed to another (vague) parking location, “Mirabelle,” with minimal instructions—just a hand-drawn mark on a small map. ---- Car towed by police due to hotel’s poor communication ---- After check-out on January 2nd, we returned to the Mirabelle parking lot to find our car had been towed due to a market held in the space. In need of urgent help, we turned to the hotel - and the reception suggested emailing the police—offering no meaningful assistance despite knowing we were foreigners unfamiliar with the city and language and we had return flights that afternoon. We called the police ourselves, located the car, paid €300 to retrieve it, paid a taxi ride plus €80 for parking fees. The police informed us the hotel should not have directed us to that parking place, as the annual market is well-known and is held every year on the same dates. The hotel had not warned us of this event, instead blaming us for not reading signs—impractical since we hadn’t used the car or visited the lot during our stay and couldn’t understand German signs. We asked the hotel for a refund for the police fine, but were refused by the receptionist. The manager of the hotel did not appear despite us asking to see him/her and despite being present at the location. Only as we were leaving did the receptionist inform us that we were supposed to use the underground Mirabelle garage, not the street-level lot. The two are adjacent but distinct—one with a hotel agreement, the other not. This crucial detail had never been communicated, costing us the hotel parking discount and leading to the towing. The hotel’s poor communication and lack of support caused us minimum of €350 in financial losses. Adding insult to injury, we saw other unhappy guests at reception complaining about parking fines the same day—further evidence of the hotel’s negligence.
