Good Hostel. Small with no common area, but the rooms are sufficient. The breakfast is nothing crazy but will bring you until lunch. The service and staff is very helpful and kind. Location is good, everything is walkable. Price value is absolutely fine.
Nasty filthy and just a nightmare. The personal cancelled the booking with booking.com, even thought I said I do NOT want to do this wishy washy deal, and then they requested higher pay on the check-in, after all I did not stay there as the rooms where so filthy and nasty, it was unbearable. I'm fighting for my money back now.
I only needed to spend the night, I arrived at the hotel around 6 pm. I checked in and received the keys to the room. They didn’t ask me about payment; usually I have a card in my personal account and the money is debited automatically upon check-in. I took a shower and went to dinner. 2 hours later I returned to the hotel and the manager at the reception asked me to pay for the room. I said that they can charge the card, or I will give them another card. The answer was that they do not accept online payments and only accept cash. I said that this was not indicated on the website and no one told me about it when checking in. As a result, they did not want to solve this problem and asked me to vacate the room and leave the hotel. It was already very late, I had a morning flight and really wanted to sleep. I was forced to urgently look for alternative accommodation options. The impression is that the hotel and service are terrible. In addition, I noticed that this was an old house and my room was very small and converted from an old apartment. In reality the hotel looks much worse than in the photo. I've been to Baku several times and so far this is the worst hotel in this city.
