The garage for parking is a bit difficult to find and is pretty narrow. There are plenty of spaces available. The way from parking to reception is very interesting, a bit narrow too and the ground is a bit uneven but once youre in the main hotel its very nice. The reception staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean. Our room was spacious and had lots of stuff like shampoo, body lotion, hair dryer, tea and coffee etc. There was also a guest comment card, where they asked about cleanliness etc. The hotel is in a very nice neighbourhood and there are bus stations close by. We went by bus and were at the EU-Parliament in like half an hour. Can recommend the hotel!
The hotel is conveniently located and there are restaurants and supermarkets in the immediate vicinity. The hotel has already been partially renovated, it is not recommended to book one of the old rooms. The staff is courteous, the breakfast is good. The fitness trainer is small with only two cardio machines. However, I think the current four stars are exaggerated, as there are some pleasant things missing, such as an adjustable a/c fan, a socket near the kettle, an opening window and a working socket in the bathroom.
I can say very little positive about this hotel. The behavior at reception could only be described as rude. In addition, the traffic noise (all night) is insanely loud, as the windows are not soundproofed....e actually they are not insulated at all...but it doesn't matter the heating is excellent and for environmental protection you can do without room cleaning. What my room cleaning has to do with the environment is just as unclear to me as the fact that in a 4 star hotel it is not possible to pay cashless at the hotel bar or to have the amount charged to the room. In the "fitness center" there was a stepper and a treadmill, but the treadmill was broken. The breakfast can be described as mediocre at best. Reheated canned mushrooms, dry crockettes, sausages and bacon were available until 08:00 a.m. If you do sports before breakfast and therefore arrive at breakfast after 08:00 a.m., you will have to do without them as well as salmon and cheese. The entrance to the underground parking garage is an imposition. It is best to arrive with a small car or a go-cart. I give the single star for the room service, early, quick and thorough cleaning. Thanks to the housekeeping team for this.
