Mercure Maceio Pajuçara

Really nice hotel. The breakfast is a very nice buffet with a lot of choice ! Employees are friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The roof top has a wonderful view but it's windy out there ! The swiming pool is great but not enough deep. The location of the hotel is a good point too, just in front of the beach. The only bad point was the bar, we had a drink one night but it was expensive and not tasty.

The drinks and snacks served at the bar are great, the structure is beautiful and the hotel gives you a comforting and sofisticated vibe. I did not stay overnight or rented a room, so I can't vouch for them. The staff was kind and attentive and prices were reasonable.

For my experience Mercure is far from a 4 stars Hotel, I would say 3 stars maximum. The hotel need a good refurbishment. Windows not cleaned well. Pillow are very hard and low. Towells also hard. Bathroom was cleaned but I guess because of the age the appearance is not cleaned enough - there were a lot of tiny roaches in the bathroom. The hallways and the reception had a strong sewage smell. Staff are amazing.
