Excellent hotel. Joaquin, Carlos and Pedro provided truly unique service at breakfast
The hotel is very close to Avenida Paulista and its cultural centers, such as SESC, Itaú Cultural, and Japan House. We were able to visit many exhibitions, and it was really easy to walk around the neighborhood. The staff was very helpful and provided everything we requested promptly. Breakfast was also very good. However, the hotel rooms are quite old and had a musty smell due to humidity. We experienced allergic coughing during our stay, including our 4-year-old. There were no power outlets near the bed to charge our phones, and there was visible mildew in the bathroom. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower was very low. Overall, I feel the hotel is somewhat overpriced considering the condition of the facilities.
We had dinner twice while in the hotel and the experience was very bad. The food is tasteless and not well prepared or cooked. On the second night (I had already scheduled with some friends so I kept the reservation) there were two tables occupied in the restaurant. In spite of this, the food took more than one hour to arrive and, again, it was tasteless and not well prepared.
