The Sutton Place Hotel Halifax

Great Hotel! My only complaint is the location, the entrance is a bit hidden away so we actually had to call to see how to get into the hotel. Hotel had valet parking which made it easy, the lobby was clean and welcoming. The rooms were fabulous! The bathrooms were luxurious and the rooms were top notch. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The view from the room was the harbour and for the view alone I would stay here again. Definitely would stay here again.

We had a great stay at The Sutton Place Hotel Halifax. The front desk service was warm, professional, and attentive. Valet parking was excellent — staff were courteous and helped with luggage and doors. The room was very comfortable and well-maintained, with a nice view. We only stayed one night but overall had a very positive impression. The only minor downside was the bathroom layout — it had several separate doors for the toilet and shower (for dry-wet separation), but the door placement made the space feel a bit cramped. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. The location is fantastic — just a 5–10 minute walk to the waterfront. Very convenient and highly recommended.

A Memorable Stay with a Citadel View! We had a fantastic stay at The Sutton Place Hotel in Halifax. Our room had a stunning view of the Citadel, and since we were there during Canada Day, we could even watch the parade right from our window—it was such a unique experience! The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the hospitality throughout our stay was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Halifax. We’ll definitely be back!
