Ermita Cartagena a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott

My first time visiting this country, I booked this hotel for a night before my friends arrived. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They greeted me warmly and treated me with special care. They even recognized my Elite status and had some delicious chocolates and truffles waiting for me in my room. They also upgraded my room to a more spacious one. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The morning breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options. Thank you for making my stay so pleasant.

What an amazing property right on the beach with beautiful place to watch sunsets. Only a 5 min walk to a old city gate entrance or 5 minute Uber to the clock. Be sure to see Diego at the roof top bar.

I stayed at Hotel Ermita in Cartagena for a couple of days to relax after a busy school week. Unfortunately, I didn’t like the location — it’s a bit far from the walled city, which was inconvenient. There was no coffee in the room, and even the coffee machine on the property wasn’t working. The service was okay, but not great considering the price we paid. Would I stay again? No. I wouldn’t recommend it either, as you can find better options inside the walled city for the same price.
