Hotel Dorado Plaza Boutique Calle del Arsenal

The Hotel is in between two highly frequented roads, so it's really noisy in the rooms, especially in the morning around 600 and evening around 2000. The "Disco-Bar" is a lesser problem if you have a room facing Ca 25. The staff is friendly, Internet is fast and breakfast is freshly made, but basic. The good thing it is in walking distance to cafes and restaurants as well as the Centro Histórico

Never again! I was here for a couple of days. The Hotel lays in between of two highly frequented main roads, so it's really noisy in the rooms. Right next to it is a "Disco-Bar" which was pumpin' music until 0400AM - so you won't sleep. The entrance area smells moist and moldy. The breakfast is freshly made, but it's only one option available and when they fry the eggs, the smell vapours through the room and you will smell like a fried chicken after you leave. After I checked out, it wasn't possible to print a receipe. They will sent it via e-mail. Never received it. Reached out to a couple of Whatsapp- Numbers of the Hotel- they all told me it's not theire responsability. And never answered again. All in all: Don't book it! Horrible experience.

This is THE ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL IN CARTAGENA. I am not exaggerating. Someone had written you WILL NOT SLEEP but I cannot emphasize this. YOU. WILL. NOT. SLEEP. Every noise is extremely audible and the street is so loud. It is like trying to sleep in a discoteca all night. The following video is from 5 am after a full night of already blaring noises. Worst ever. And no one at front desk until 2pm. Zero help. STAY AWAY.
