Excellent hotel and made better by the superb staff who work there. Service is excellent and they go out of their way to assist. We travelled with our (large) dog, this hotel is very dog friendly and they really do make you feel welcome on arrival. The bar is a nice touch and has good wines available by the glass as well as the bottle. Breakfast plentiful and a wide choice of options available, coffee very good which is a nice touch👌🏼👌🏼. Thanks to the team for making our time in Burgundy so special. (One star dropped for room only because a/c wasn’t great).
The staff here are excellent and incredibly friendly! The breakfast options are great and fresh. Beautiful lobby with lots of seating areas. The outside patio is also lovely.
The hotel is a beautiful property the rooms are excellent, and the location is top. However, our two night stay started off with a very bad vibe caused by an arrogant receptionist, named Marianna. She made a whole fuss about us trying to get our car in the hotel parking without having made a parking reservation, complaining we were blocking other cars (while my wife was just waiting behind the wheel to have the gate opened). She did not find our reservation in the system after I gave at her request the family name of the one who had made the reservation, and even offered our passports. Finally she found a reservation and said it was for one room, whereas we booked two. All the while being unfriendly and obviously annoyed with my reasonable but far from perfect French. She kept asking unnecessary question (how many adults, how many children…this was all clearly inputted in our Agoda reservation). You can have a beautiful property, but when staff treats you like Marianna treated me, it leaves a bitter taste.
