Le Grand Hôtel The Originals Relais

Excellent! Spacious room, beautifullly decorated, very clean and we really appreciated being able to make "real" coffee in our room. We arrived late Friday evening, no one at reception, but when he arrived we were warmly welcomed and invited to the restaurant even though we arrived after closing hours. We weren't very hungry and ordered two starters, this did not bother the staff and the waitress was friendly and helpful. Food was fresh with high quality ingredients, the menu very well composed. Last mention that the bed was so comfortable I had one of the best night's rest in a long time. We are recommending this hotel to our family and friends, and definitely organizing another visit so we can visit the spa as well. Anita Nuss & Guy Chevat

Comfy rooms, great food, handy for cycling “La Vagabonde”.

The hotel itself was lovely, and the spa facilities were quite nice. Upon arrival, the male receptionist was friendly and helpful, even providing us with an alternative restaurant address when we were told their own restaurant was fully booked — unfortunately, this didn’t help much given the limited options nearby. Our room was nicely decorated, but the bed was uncomfortably hard—like sleeping on wood—which was surprising for a spa hotel where comfort should be expected. One of the most frustrating parts was not being able to dine at the hotel’s own restaurant despite being guests, especially considering the remote location. Breakfast was another disappointment. Staff were loudly arguing in the hallway just outside the dining area, disrupting the atmosphere and feeling quite unprofessional. While check-in started on a positive note, the departure experience was dismissive and left us with a poor final impression. Overall, despite some nice features, the stay fell far short of expectations, and I would hesitate to return.
