Looking forward to our 3rd stay here. The staff is truly wonderful, and restaurant is one of the hottest spots in Paris. Total vibe. It’s a few blocks off from the more tourist streets, so feels more secluded and genuine.

We had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the plus side, every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The concierge went above and beyond by securing two restaurant reservations for us, and the location truly can’t be beat. The bar staff in the “speakeasy”-like bar was especially fantastic—professional and welcoming, and the atmosphere there was great. However, the rooms left a lot to be desired. Ours was extremely small, with barely enough space for luggage or to move around the bed. The air conditioning didn’t function well and the room was often uncomfortably warm, especially on hot days. The towels and robes were frayed and overused, and the odd art above the bed felt more creepy than stylish. Both the rooms and bathrooms are desperately overdue for a renovation. The fitness center was also a big disappointment—it’s tucked into a dark, uninviting area of the building and felt completely neglected. It definitely does not give 5-star vibes. With some serious updates to the facilities, this could be a much better hotel experience. For now, you're paying for location and service, but not comfort.

We are Marriott Bonvoy Silver members. My husband is paraplegic and we called and made reservations months in advance to make sure our accessible room with roll in shower was available. They confirmed the availability and reservation for which we paid over 700€ a night. Upon arrival, our room was not available. They proposed a room that had a step into the shower. Not possible as my husband cannot walk. The next solution was to give us a room with roll in shower but “the AC was not working properly”. The truth is the AC was not working at all. We were offered a complimentary breakfast to compensate. We spent a horrible night with a small fan to give us air. The next day they gave us our new room. Ac was working but the bathroom sink was clogged. We called to have them look at it and found that it was unclogged but still not draining properly. We found the toilet dirty and called maintenance to come back. He said that is the best he could do for the sink and upon unclogging, the toilet was backed up. He would send someone to come clean. No one from housekeeping ever came. We went out for the evening and coming back, as my husband was brushing his teeth, the nastiness came back up in the sink. The handicap rooms are clearly not maintained or cleaned properly. There is mildew and crud in corners and there is a constant smell. The floors have marks from water damage. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. We chose Marriott, an American chain for its standards which have clearly not been respected. We are horrified at the treatment of handicap people and the lack of hygiene and customer service with our grievances.. This is discrimination at its finest. Stay away!
