Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

Our room had a shower that was freezing. I notified the desk as we checked out. They did not apologize or even seem to care. We only stayed here to make an early flight. I would like to note that the lounge was very nice and the person who worked there was extremely professional. He made us feel welcome.

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children. The room was spacious, with a great view and very quiet. Friendly staff, especially the concierge. Breakfast was perfect. And it is only about 20 to 25 minutes from the lobby to Terminal 2C (5 minutes walk to the free train, brief transfer, then walk to your check-in counter at the departure terminal). Terminal 3 is right next door to the hotel. However, one of the beds for the kids was horrible (the sofa bed). We had to pull that mattress off and put it on the floor.

The only convenience of this hotel is that it’s near Charles de Gaulle airport for those transiting in or out of France. Everything else was very misleading. Hotel is under renovation so very few services available (no pool or executive lounge, limited menu, dated rooms). In the morning we were seated for breakfast late 10:00 am (the wait was long). Breakfast was supposed to finish at 10:30, we barely had the opportunity take food from the buffet and they were taking everything away and were told to vacate our seating! The rooms are very dated. They even smell old. Not the quality of a 4 star hotel. Also, there is no hotel “shuttle” as listed. You need to schlep all your luggage to the train and then take it through all the stations to your terminal. They definitely have many improvements to make before they can call themselves an actual 4 star hotel.
