Needed a room due to my car unexpectedly having a breakdown. Room was clean and quiet. Price was a wee high due to summer holidays. Otherwise a solid night's sleep. Friendly staff.
Very good location near the Motorway. Large parking lot. Very nice service. Clean rooms. Tasty breakfasts. I can recommend.
The Transmar Travel Hotel is located in Bindlach, but just at the edge of Bayreuth. Only 2,6km to the Wagner Festspielhaus. In general the hotel is not 100% up to date and the rooms are a bit old and dark. Most missing plugs to charge our equipment. WLAN is free for 2 hours then you need to renew it for free again. This is a bit disturbing and WLAN is very slow too - may be it was because hotel was well booked. Very functional everything… breakfast buffet is nice and with great selections of cheeses. The staff is super friendly and very helpful, we could even check in much earlier.
