Frankfurt Airport Marriott Hotel

Hotel is connected to the airport and is a very convenient place to stay the day before a flight. We booked 2 nights as the last stop of our trip, before flying back to the U.S. There is easy access to the train to get anywhere in the city you'd like to go to. Straight down a few escalators and you're in an area with food and shopping, including a full-blown grocery store with very good prices, especially being on an airport property. Upon entering our room, it was apparent that the a/c was not working. After bringing it to the staff's attention, they informed me there were no other rooms available to move us to that evening, and provided us with multiple fans. While not ideal and still V😉very warm, we were able to make it through the evening. I did request a manager to come to the room to feel how hot it was, so it did not just seem like we were complaining for nothing. Denise (the manager) quickly came to our room and apologized for the inconvenience and said they would have a new room ready for us the next day as soon as possible. The next day we visited the city and upon our return, the new room was ready for us. There was a handwritten note once again apologizing for the inconvenience, and they put us in an upgraded room, which we appreciated greatly. Denise and the reception staff were very accommodating and did the best they could with taking care of us. While they clearly need to be get the a/c in that room fixed, we really appreciated the extra mile they went to take care of when they could. Thank you, Denise and team.

We got stranded in Frankfurt and we were absolutely exhausted. For how bad Lufthansa s service (luggage arrived after many hours of waiting), Germany has made up in hospitality with Marriott. Excellent service, impeccable clean and beautiful rooms. I appreciated the receptionist that even gave us complimentary coffee to Brighten up our day. It's a small thing, but after a long day, you appreciate it a lot. This hotel is absolutely the best option you have if you have an early flight or , like us, get stranded. it is basically in the airport, so easy in the morning to get your flight. They have room service but there are quite a few options of food in the airport as well. There is also a 24h kiosk where you can pay with your visa fro some ready meals(great price ). it is on the lower floor at the airport. i hope it helps

The hotel itself is beautifully designed — modern, clean, and with spacious rooms that initially impressed us. However, the lack of air conditioning was a major issue that completely overshadowed the positives. Our room was extremely hot, making it nearly impossible to sleep. Although staff were aware of the issue, they acted as if it was a surprise and offered us a Dyson fan, which unfortunately did nothing to alleviate the heat. We checked in at 6:30pm and were repeatedly told the room just needed more time to cool down — even by 9:30pm, there was no improvement. We had an early 6:30am flight and were exhausted, but ended up spending the few hours we had trying to rest in what felt like a sauna. We weren’t the only ones — other guests, including the couple next door, had the same experience and ultimately left to stay at the Hilton next door. It was clear from conversations and the multiple Dyson fans being handed out that this is a known, recurring issue the hotel has yet to resolve. While the aesthetic and cleanliness of the hotel were excellent, the lack of basic comfort and misleading handling of the air conditioning issue made our stay very frustrating. I would not return unless this is definitively addressed.
