A very nice, family owned hotel and local brewery. The restaurant is also having good, local food. Great place for business workshops but also to start trips and hikes in the surrounding nature sphere.
Kindly service in an traditionell swabian local hotel. Good food and beverages as well availble as like one brewed beers. Ideal location for exploring swabian Alb or just only relaxing at fresh air. Hotel in the mid of natural protected resort...insight advice for starting bicycle or hicking Tours. A lot of unfied sight seeings activities nearby: germans only once underwater cave e.g. Call it pearl of swabian Alb and let the city rush behind you;-)
Very nice hotel. The room setting is modern and contemporary with all the basic necessary features (less a fridge and safe). Beautiful garden at the back for outdoor seating with a playground across the back road. Only two comments on the hotel : first is that the reception doesn't face the main road nor the main door, so first timers and/or foreigners (like me) may struggle to find the hotel reception. Second is that there are no power points beside the room bed, which is odd but somewhat refreshing since you don't have to rely on your mobile phone before you sleep. The restaurant in the hotel is very good. I have had dinner twice there. I ordered the asparagus with melted butter and veal steak addition, on my first dinner. I understand that it may be a seasonal menu item but the dish was very good. The melted butter sauce went well with the asparagus which was cooked nicely and not too soft. Veal steak could be more tender but still good. On my second dinner, I ordered the goat cheese salad and the crusty pigling knuckle. The goat cheese salad was very good, with their lightly toasted goat cheese, some chips and tangy salad dressing. The crusty pigling knuckle was cooked very well, and the skin was delightfully crusty with no signs of being cooked twice. The meat was tender with no signs of dryness. Coupled with their sauce and sauerkraut, the combination is wholesome and doesn't leave you with an overbearing feeling of richness.
