1st Floor Köln 2

Amazing experience! The room was great all the way to the minor details: music box, cutlery, minibar included, etc... The Whirlpool was fantastic and big enough for 2 tall people (room 7). Great staff at reception to top it all off, offering parking for our bikes and recommendations in the neighbourhood. Would recommend it to anyone!

Good quality for this price. Small and cozy mini hotel. All rooms on the ground floor. So it might be street sounds if windows are open. It was my birthday and we stayed in room #7. Originally decorated room with spa bath and infrared sauna. Unconvenient bed (very soft). Mini bar free of charge. Metro station under corner. There is no food facility inside but a pretty good italian restaurant nearby. Parking front door 10 euro per day.

Recently I had the misfortune and poor inspiration to stay at 1st Floor Koln. Based on the pictures on Booking, everything looked wonderful, but the truth is that I had the most horrible experience ever. The room was located in the basement with no signal, and the worst thing is that we had a door in the bathroom, unlocked, that went directly into that basement. We called the lady at the reception and she told us that is perfectly normal for that door to be opened (that is for our safety) and that she can not give us the key to lock it, and, also that her boos will call us the next day. No one called, and also I think to punish us they didn t clean our room or change the towels for the next 3 days. Do not trust the pictures, very bad experience.
