Lindner Hotel Cologne Am Dom part of JdV by Hyatt

We loved our stay at the Lindner Hotel Cologne Am Dom! The service was amazing - we were so delighted and touched by the special touches the staff added to help celebrate our anniversary! Everyone we encountered on staff was kind and helpful. (We especially loved talking with Pamela!) Our rooms were spacious and very comfortable. And the pool area was a great bonus for the kids. Finally, breakfast was unparalleled. So many delicious options. What a spread! Thank you to all the hotel staff for a spectacular stay!

Great stay at the hotel. Very close to the cathedral and main attractions. Front staff and breakfast staff were very sweet and amazing (shoutout to Pamela!)! At night, if you are a tourist, it feels a bit unsafe but it’s comparable to being in any major city. Good rooms, just had a bit of trouble with the AC, but all was sorted. Great stay overall!

I had two separate stays at the Lindner Koln Am Dom JDV by Hyatt upon my arrival in Koln for five nights in early/mid-April and then again for eight nights at the end of April 2025. For both stays, my room was upgraded to a suite because of my Globalist Elite status, the latter stay to their largest suite available, a most gorgeous suite with most all the amenities you can think of for the low four-star property that the Lindner Koln Am Dom is. This property was recognized by Hyatt this past year with an internal "star upgrade" meaning points upgrades cost more points in recognition of the exceptional internal reviews this property has been receiving consistently over the recent past. Though there were issues with noise and though there were issues with their basic king rooms that I was issued until the suite upgrade became available, the basic king room at this property (both in which I stayed) are quite well-appointed. The rooms are large per European standards for hotel located in a downtown area such as Old Town Koln, an easy, quick walk from the Kold Hbf main train station. There is no need to take a taxi even if you have luggage. The breakfast that was included for me was fantastic, and two standout employees, Hichem and Pamela as well as the cooks and other attendants in the restaurant, made breakfasts something I looked forward to every morning. Stefani, the General Manager, was typically seen working breakfast as well, always with a smile and air of elegance about her as she mingled with staff and guests alike in addition to assisting with chores at hand. Hichem went out of his way to make me a special "vitamin drink" and even left me with a special recipe of vitamin/energy mix... thank you, Hichem!!! This property and my time in Koln, with a sojourn to Nurnberg, will forever remain special memories for me, and lure me back in the future. Thank you one and all at the Lindner Koln Am Dom!!
