H Hotel Wiesbaden Niedernhausen

This is a nice hotel in a very good location with nice nature around. Enjoy the free parking and breakfast. Rooms are also very spacious with a nice view. Room equipment could be improved by adding a fridge, kettle, and AC though. Overall, highly recommended.

Clean but a bit outdated Air conditioning in the rooms would be a big bonus making it better rated. It was warm and stuffy when we arrived in the evening (21:30). Outside temperature was +~19 degrees. Ventilation in the bathroom was not working very good. We slept with the windows open so that it was not too hot.

The front desk employees were wonderful. The room was supposed to have a refrigerator, but it did not. We were given another room that had a refrigerator, thankfully. No one collected towels until our 8th day. Not sure if we were supposed to do something to let someone know, but I found the linen closet and cleaning supplies and cleaned the rooms. I was unable to find garbage bags so we walked our trash out after each meal. When they cleaned they did a good job except they did not replace any trash bags they removed. There were several large work trucks parked in the apartment parking lot and many didn't park within the lines so we had to park at the top of the hill and walk down. While washing clothes, there are specific coins you purchase at the hotel front desk, someone decided to use the dryer, on our token, and left them there. Not sure of the etiquette on this one, but I did place their clothes on top of the dryer when mine finished washing and replaced them when mine were done. The pool was never open, which was an amenity that attracted us to this location, because it was having "technical difficulties." We had 4 plates, 2 bowls, 2 forks, 4 butter knives, and 1 spoon. The built in blinds are amazing once you figure out they are there and how to use them. I say all this for others to be prepared. I am thankful for this place as it served it purpose, but there is a lot of room for improvement.
