I am a Hyatt globalist and spent 150 nights this year in different Hyatt properties. The Linder hotel in Boltenhagen is a very nice, comfortable property with friendly staff all throughout the hotel. The breakfast is really good quality and the facilities in the hotel are great. Special mention to the delightful Luca at reception who might be the most professional Hyatt colleague I have met. The only negative for me was that the swimming pool was too cold to comfortably swim in the Winter. Some of the staff also need training in relation to the Globalist perks. I was charged a minibar bill for water which should have been included for free because the staff marked it as a minibar expense despite clearly explaining to them that we were requesting water for free. When I tried explain this upon checkout the colleague didn’t understand what I meant and I just paid instead of arguing.

Modern rooms. Close to Travemunde ferry terminal (1 hour drive) so very convenient if you arrive the day before your ferry departure. Very decent restaurant offering menu and a la carte. The best is the very professional and very helpful crew. For Hyatt Globalist over the average treatment.

Fine dining. A little bit more expensive then other restaurants in the area, but definitely worth it. You can choose between a few changing dishes or a 3-course-menu. Nice view of the harbor from outside tables as well as inside the restaurant. There are fish, meat and vegetable options - all nicely prepared.
