Hotel Landhaus Höpen

Really nice place with great SPA and wonderful breakfast. Recommended with 6 stars if possible

Nice surroundings- beautiful landscape for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately I do not understand the 4**** as the rooms are not up to standard- spots on the walls, bathroom like in the 70s, no airconditioning, bedding way to soft, although we had “please do not disturb”- the room was cleaned. The main building is hot in the corridor due to pools beneath- unbreathable. Breakfast good (bread rolls and eggs okay), dinner great. Service at breakfast and dinner great, receptionist was overwhelmed with our voucher: no good morning “ are u serious to come now with another voucher, this is going to take a lot of time for checkout” well we were not informed to mention the voucher at arrival- so yeah overall: okay rooms, would not book again unfortunately, food okay/good, personal okay/ good but definitely not 4****.

Prime location, but service falls short of expectations. While the hotel boasts an excellent location, the overall service is disappointing. Housekeeping is limited to just three days a week, which is not in keeping with the standards expected of a four-star establishment. The breakfast is adequate, though unremarkable. Unfortunately, the service level feels more aligned with a two-star rating. Additionally, the rooms lack proper insect protection, and unsightly garbage was left directly outside the window—an issue that detracts significantly from the guest experience.
