Location: 30 min walk from the city center but close to the river Bed: Mattress is too soft but ok. Duvet is ok. Noise: Not identified Curtain: A bit leak of sunlight. Booked a room for a child and 2 adults- check-in we find out there is only 1 large bed no kid bed. They let us know that all rooms with 3 beds /couch are taken and rolling beds also in use. We asked if we could get the money back, he said only one room (we had booked 2 rooms for our extended family) could be reimbursed. We decided to stay since it was late and we didn't want to separate from the group. Asked if the room had a towel for the child, they said no. We asked for a towel and they said the person before had taken their towels, housekeeping was closed, so they had no towels available. *on top of all that, arrive in the room and the toilet had urine on the seat and the bedsheets had a hole... If we had known all this before booking, we would have chosen another hotel

Modern Hotel with Stunning River Views, but Some Drawbacks I recently stayed at the FourSide Plaza Hotel in Trier and found it to be a mixed experience. The room I stayed in was exactly as advertised, with modern amenities and a wonderful view of the Mosel River, which added a serene touch to my stay. The hotel’s contemporary design gives it a fresh and welcoming ambiance. However, there were some notable downsides. The lack of air conditioning in the rooms became a significant issue during the warm summer nights. It made sleeping uncomfortable and somewhat detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the covered parking facility, while convenient, is quite small and challenging to navigate, especially for larger vehicles like SUVs. The 9-euro per night parking fee also seemed steep, particularly for paying guests. On a positive note, the receptionists were very clear and efficient in their instructions, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Overall, while the hotel has its perks, especially with the scenic views and modern decor, the lack of air conditioning and the parking situation are worth considering for future guests.
