Hotel Barnimer Hof

Booked the room to stop by overnight on a trip and was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted by an extremely friendly staff. The room and bathroom was spotless clean but could you more electrical outlets. The restaurant offered amazing service and food.

Check out is at 11 am and at 10 am they are already knocking on the door to know when you are leaving, after about 30 minutes again. The cot we had booked was broken and they claimed they didn't have another one. The reservation was made & paid in March to make use of it in May and they asked 3 times on different occasions if it had been paid. The service leaves a lot to be desired.

It's not possible to give 0 stars, otherwise I would have. This is probably the worst hotel I've ever been to. The rooms are so warm, it's impossoble not to sleep with the window open, which causes A LOT of noise from outside. Besides from that there's no isolation towards the hallway, so obviously there's also a lot of noise coming from there. In total makes it impossoble to get a decent nights sleep. In the bathroom there's mold, disgusting. At dinner you're not required to use a mask while entering the dining hall, the staff is, but not all of them are. Only one person from the evening staff speaks english, but still you'll be served by all of them, if you're a foreigner, don't expect them to understand you. At breakfast you're required to use a mask while entering the dining hall. Breakfast is served as a buffet with no access to hand disinfection, even though covid-19 is still around us - super irresponsible! I'm never coming back here, and I would never recommend this place to anyone!
