A truly boutique hotel and the best one I've been. What we likes? The service. The rooms. The pool area. The private beach. The breakfast. The view.
Very much enjoyed our stay at The Island Concept during our honeymoon! The staff was incredibly friendly and the rooms very modern, not surprising giving this is a new hotel. Food at breakfast and the restaurant was amazing, too (although the bar drinks were a little bit hit or miss). Best part was the amazing views! We would not hesitate to come back to this beautiful and well maintained hotel.
Overall, we enjoyed a very pleasant stay at the island concept hotel. We stayed three nights in the deluxe room with outdoor Jacuzzi. We were surprised when we arrived that the Jacuzzi felt cold and we called the staff who told us there is a max limit of 28°C. Normal jacuzzi is min 35°C. For us in late September this was very cold and we unfortunately did not enjoy or use the Jacuzzi that we were looking forward to(the website does note this temperature and we missed it but we feel it’s strange to keep the temp this low especially in cooler weather months) The shower temperature also oscillates plates when other units flush the toilet or run water and is something that should be improved by the hotel. The staff and service is impeccable (especially Christos). They are very thoughtful and give great recommendations for things to do in the area. A few of our notes for improvement around the room are: add more hooks in the bathroom (there were just 2 for body towels and 2 for face towels). Room service could be a bit better- They mainly just straightened the bed and replaced towels, but we would’ve appreciated more straightening up for the price we were paying. The restaurant was nice, we enjoyed it, but not particularly impressive. We ate dinner there one night but preferred to go into town for food. Providing sunscreen and goggles for guests could be another nice measure. Overall, it was a lovely experience. It could’ve been enhanced by a little bit more thoughtfulness and improvement. We hope the hotel can take these notes and make changes that will enhance the experience for future guests.
