Venus Mare

This is one of the best accommodations I stayed at, everyone is super friendly (not fake friendly) and the services provided are top notch. One of the things that stood out the most was the a la carte half board, first time I've seen this kind of service, usually it's just a buffet. The food is also high quality and each dish was always nicely plated. The beach is 5 min away from the hotel, it's a decent beach but there were constant waves so you'll be better off to another beach if you rented a car. I highly recommend this place!

We arrived very early before our check in and they welcomed us warmly, then fed us breakfast. Our room was immaculate with all the services needed. I've never slept better on vacation. The pool was relaxing and the beach a short walk away. The hotel restaurant was delicious, but there were other local places to choose from. And breakfast was a delight every day! From airport transportation, to reception, wait staff, and cleaning crew everyone was incredible warm and welcome. Will stay here again.

We had a great 5 nights stay at this hotel! The room was very comfortable, the pool was lovely, and the location is excellent — just a 3-minute walk to the beach. There’s also a small, affordable supermarket right next door. But the real highlight of this hotel is the food. The half-board meals were truly gourmet/ gastronomic level — everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The traditional Cretan dinner at the second restaurant (bio) was especially amazing.(included when booking a certain numbers of night) We genuinely enjoyed every bite, and as French guests, we’re usually quite picky when it comes to food.
