Our stay was exceptional. We would like to give special thanks to Danai, Amanda, Zoe and Maria. Danai gave us a free upgrade upon checking in due to availability, as well as early check in - which was so lovely and kind. The breakfast was always great, organised and clean thanks to Amanda. The pool area was also clean and relaxing. We were never troubled for a sun lounger or bean bag lounger. Zoe and Amanda were so attentive by the pool bar. They truly work very hard. We looked forward to their coffee's and smoothies everyday! Danai and the other young man (whose name we unfortunately did not catch) at reception were so helpful, giving us advice on excursions etc. All staff greet you everyday which was such a nice touch. There is a staff member keeping security at night (whose name we also did not catch - He was so kind). The door is locked at night for safety, and guests are given a key to use for when it is locked. There are books and parasols for the beach which you can borrow. The room was modern and cleaned by Maria daily. We had no issues during our stay.
A nice hotel with all the amenities!!! Clean place, nice owners and next to the traditional village in Malia as well as next to the sea!!!! Definitely worth it!!!
Great atmosphere, nice apartment and everything clean 3 friends and I visited the Sunshine Boutique Hotel in Malia, Crete for 9 days in September. Both the nightly check-in and the transfer from the airport went smoothly. The staff was always friendly and eager to take care of all the guests' concerns. At breakfast everyone finds something, for us as party vacationers it was only a little bit early until half past ten. The party mile is within 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. However, it must be said that the nightlife in September is somewhat quieter and already the first clubs have closed. Nevertheless, you can still party well and have a nice chat with the night watchman Marius when you get back to the hotel. He is available all night and can give you one or two helpful tips. The beach is also a maximum of 15 minutes walk away. The sea is a nice place to cool down in September. If you don't feel like going to the sea, the pool offers everything you need in the summer with numerous sunbeds and a varied assortment at the bar. In conclusion, we can highly recommend the hotel. The rooms were very clean and newly furnished. The room with pool view and sunrise every morning is recommended. Greetings, the 4 boys from Germany
