1 Hotel Central Park

Amazing in every way possible. I recently stayed here while moving out of New York. We ended up staying about 5 days and the entire time was amazing, mostly because of the extremely helpful staff. Due to our move, we had so many special requests and situations that for sure were not of the normal type they probably see day-in-day-out. For every request we had during our stay, the staff would go above and beyond trying to help and be helpful. Seriously, I was getting extremely self-conscious at one point with how much I needed to ask of them, but they still came through. So, if they managed to keep me and my bazillion special requests satisfied, they will have no problem with whatever you throw at them. The rest of the experience was driven from the sheer quality of the finish out and cleanliness. All common areas were beautifully designed and well kept. The hallways were so warm and comforting in their appearance (seriously didn't know it was possible to have a favorite hotel hallway appearance, but I think I found it). The rooms were very modern and almost everything in them was perfectly clean and looked well taken care of. All of the fundamental aspects of cleanliness and functionality were wrapped up in a beautiful Earth-bound green and lush package that makes the price tag well worth it, in my opinion. When I find myself back in New York, I will for sure be staying here.

I’ve been to a lot of hotels in my life. 1 Hotel Central Park is the best one I’ve stayed at yet. This will always hold a special place in our hearts. My wife and I spent six unforgettable nights here during our minimoon in NYC, and we couldn’t have asked for a better “home” away from home. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and thoughtful, making us feel instantly welcome and cared for. The rooms are beautifully designed—elegant, calming, and full of natural touches that reflect the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. The location is unbeatable—just steps from Central Park, and within easy reach of so many iconic spots in Manhattan. Whether we were walking to dinner, shopping, or simply taking a peaceful stroll through the park, everything felt wonderfully convenient. More than just a stay, 1 Hotel Central Park became a part of our story—our first days as a married couple, filled with laughter, joy, and love. We’re so grateful for the memories we made here and can’t wait to return someday.

Service was always top-notch, consistent, and reliable - best part of the stay. The location is convenient to many high-quality restaurants (Quality Meats) and easy take-outs (Starbucks). Jams has an interesting and fun menu, but is pricey, albeit delicious. We reserved the recommended luxury car service for an event - excellent service; ask for Henry as your driver. The room was clean, average size, comfortable bed, and provided all needed amenities. I wish I knew that the mini-fridge is actually a mini-bar that is completely stocked, because I needed the fridge space. The bath products are in reusable containers (I get it, sustainable approach) to be refilled in between stays, and can easily be accessed by customers. It's something that I didn't expect from a 5-star hotel. Lastly, for the most part, the furniture is average, nothing impressive nor comfortable. The couch in the separate living space is so uncomfortable, we hated it. Overall, the hotel met our needs and we enjoyed it - price included a promotion w/ valet parking and room discount, so it did offer the best options for the money compared to other locations.
