We recently had the pleasure of executing our second brand activation at 1 Hotel West Hollywood, and I couldn’t be more impressed by the exceptional service, seamless execution, and overall incredible experience provided by the entire team. A huge thank you goes out to Aaron in Marketing, Annette in Events, and all the staff on site who worked tirelessly to ensure the day went off without a hitch. From the initial planning stages to the final moments of the panel and cocktail reception, the level of professionalism, attention to detail, and warmth from the entire 1 Hotel team made the event truly unforgettable. Aaron and Annette were absolute rockstars—coordinating every element with precision and creativity. They took the time to understand our vision and went above and beyond to help bring it to life. Their dedication and support made the entire process incredibly smooth, and we felt completely confident knowing that the event was in such capable hands. On the day of the activation, the staff was attentive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. They ensured our guests had everything they needed and created an atmosphere of comfort and elegance that perfectly complemented our event. Whether it was handling logistics or assisting with special requests, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. The venue itself was the ideal setting—chic, vibrant, and full of character, all while maintaining the relaxed and welcoming vibe that 1 Hotel is known for. It truly was the perfect backdrop for our panel discussion and cocktail reception. I can’t recommend 1 Hotel West Hollywood enough for anyone looking to host a standout event. They say it’s dog friendly but it’s really not. There is like NO WHERE to take your dog to go to the bathroom. Yeah if you want to walk to the dog park but when dogs are staying in a hotel room, they need something closer than that. It is crazy how many times I walked around the building, looking for something and seeing perfectly empty areas that they could have just built a little caged in area with turf and a dog poop trash can. Would be so easy! Loved the hotel but can’t stay here anymore. My dogs don’t just go on the busy sidewalk with hundreds of people walking by.

I stayed one night at 1 Hotel West Hollywood and was very disappointed with several aspects of my experience. I was offered an upgrade to a supposedly quieter room, which I accepted. Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite the opposite — there was loud music until late at night, and I ended up regretting the upgrade. I informed the staff about this, but no gesture or compensation was offered. We had a cocktail by the pool — mine tasted like pure tequila, poorly balanced, and my wife’s $22 drink was a tiny 250ml can, not even made by a bartender. Later that evening, around 11:30 PM, I asked for water and was told that bottled water was only available for an extra charge, and that no one could process that charge at the time. Instead, I was given a carafe of ice and tap water. Not exactly the service I expected from a hotel of this level. Breakfast the next morning was no better. The croissants were dry and far from fresh, more like something you’d find in a convenience store than a luxury hotel. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations — both in terms of service and value. What’s most disappointing is that the hotel made no effort to recover from the negative experiences I shared. For the price and the reputation, I expected much more. Sadly, I won’t be returning.
