I was scheduled to stay here for a company retreat, but the property was in disgusting condition when we arrived. There was MOLD in the freezer, DIRTY DISHES, GUM on the wall, Food on the floor and furniture, and Hairs in the bed. It was clear no one had properly cleaned or inspected the space. It appears as thought the manager for the property rents out the rooms under the radar or has squatters staying there. Our leadership made the decision to leave immediately. AvantStay refused to take responsibility or issue a refund—even though we didn’t stay a single night. For the amount of money spent, this experience was completely unacceptable. Avoid at all costs. They refuse to refund us 17k in stays even though we left after 45 minutes of being there. Management refuses to refund us and even told our credit card company that we stayed the entire time. I've included pics of mold in freezer, gum on walls, hair in bed, dirty dishes in cabinets, and emails with their corporate office letting them know we are leaving. Their response was we will clean it and offer you 500 off your 22k stay even though we never stayed there. I've attached their poor response. Sorry, but you can't clean mold out of freezers and rooms and expect it to just be ok. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Extremely Unprofessional Experience Our company booked this property for a team retreat, but it was completely unfit for guests. The rooms were dirty, with mold in the freezer, food on the floor, hair everywhere, and used dishes still in the cabinets. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned at all. We had no choice but to leave and find last-minute accommodations. AvantStay was notified immediately and refused to issue a refund or offer support. For a booking of this size, it’s unacceptable. I would not trust this company again.
I was part of a team retreat where we rented this property for a full buyout. We arrived expecting a clean, professional space. Instead, we found mold, leftover food, dirty dishes, gum on the walls, and hair all over the floors. We couldn’t stay—it was that bad. Our leadership notified AvantStay immediately, but they offered no solution and refused a refund. For a company managing high-value bookings, this was a total failure. I would never book with AvantStay again
