Nice maintained place, ideal for exploring south of Bali. New scooters for rent directly at the hotel, spacious rooms, quiet hotel close to the beautiful beaches - Melasti or Pandawa and others…

A Quiet Stay with strategic good location. But missing some warmth. We stayed here for 4 nights and had a pleasant, if somewhat detached experience. The property has the charm of a guesthouse more than a hotel, which isn't necessarily a downside. It just depends on what you're looking for. The owners are a young Czech couple with a newborn baby. They're clearly doing their best to give guests privacy and stay in the background. While this is appreciated, it also meant the place lacked a bit of soul or personal touch. Ironically, they were most visible when most (not all) of the guests were out, sitting quietly by the pool. We booked this place mainly because we are crazy about jacuzzis. The hot tub is indeed large, beautifully located in the garden, and was running when we arrived. Worth the extra money compared with similar but cheaper hotels/villa's in the area. Unfortunately, it broke down the next day and wasn't fixed until the morning of our departure, which was disappointing. They did offer us a complimentary drink as a kind of gesture. The location is good as a base. From here, you can reach either the west or south coast of the Nusa Dua Peninsula area in under 30 minutes with Grab or scooter. Our favorite spot was Nyang Nyang Beach. Very long stretched quite beach. The rooms are very neat and comfortable, though you can start to see small signs of wear and tear. Nothing major, but visible if you look closely. Daily cleaning isn’t quite thorough like you expect from a hotel. Beds are made, new towels given, the room is tidied, but eg bathroom not deeply cleaned. This is done during breakfast time (IDR 150K per person), which is convenient. The main pool is lovely, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful. With time, especially once the baby is older, this place might evolve into a more authentic and warm Indonesian stay. For now, it’s a clean, quiet base with friendly Indonesian staff and lots of potential. It is just still finding its character. Don't expect a decent restaurant within walking distance. But you are allowed to eat your own grab food in the evening with the cutlery of the house. That's a big pro!

The biggest mistake on our trip. They do not have card payment, only cash and payment upon arrival. They were very inflexible in the requests we had before arriving. It is very far from the most beautiful area of Uluwatu. Despite having breakfast booked, we opted to go have breakfast at restaurants in the area. The first day we stayed, we did not have room cleaning service (€80 per night). In the bathroom, the glass does not cover enough and the water comes out when you shower, we had to put the towels so it would absorb. On the second day, we said we were leaving the room at night, and that's when they offered us cleaning service. The staff is very friendly (as in the rest of the country), but that does not make up for the shortcomings of the facilities. It's not worth €80 a night. The hotel management is not good. After 9pm, there is no one from the hotel staff. For this price there are many better options.
