Wow what a amazing place, my host Santie was amazing. From the time we arrived it felt like I knew her my whole life. The property is so close to the beach closer you will not find. Pet friendly what a plus. The sun set was amazing. My room was comfortable, clean and well stocked nice garden with amazing sunset views. The only thing I did not like at all.... was the fact that our stay was so short but next time we will stay longer. This place is a real retreat for the body and mind.

I had a wonderful stay at 14 Penguin Place in Melkbosstrand. The room was clean and well-maintained, though I did find the main light a bit dim. That said, everything else was fantastic. The swimming pool was a perfect way to unwind after a long motorcycle ride, and the calming view and soothing sounds of the ocean made it even more enjoyable. The service was great overall, though I did have a brief wait at check-in. Despite that, the host was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful and relaxing stay!

Unfortunately, our experience at this B&B was less than satisfactory. We had an issue with our booking and were not fully compensated for the downgrade we received. When we brought up our concerns, we were met with hostile and unprofessional responses from the host and her son. The host's behavior was unacceptable and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome during the proceedings before our stay. We were disappointed by their lack of professionalism and the way they handled the situation. While the location and amenities of the B&B may have been appealing, we cannot recommend this place due to the negative experience we had with the host. We advise future guests to proceed with caution and be aware of the potential for conflict with the host if issues arise. We hope that the host takes this feedback into consideration and works to improve their customer service in the future.
