1770 Lagoons Central Apartment Resort

This place is fantastic. Whomever wrote those 1 star ratings are either crazy or just like to find faults in lovely places. 1770 lagoon resort is beautiful and very clean. Pristine pool, very clean, well appointed rooms, and kitchen, soft white cotton linen, comfortable bed and pillows. The staff and manager are extremely friendly and helpful. We had a swim up room which was west facing so the afternoon sun was awesome with a pristine clear pool to plunge into. A short stroll to the beach. We will be back. Book direct for a 15% discount!

I give 5 stars to all the staff involved at making our stay comfortable, and going above and beyond for accommodating us, yes there were a few little faults with our rooms at the beginning and they were handled immediately and without question, we had booked a swimout room see the attached photos, rooms were very clean and comfortable. The manager and his partner have recently taken over and are making changes fast to turn this once stunning resort back to it former glory, live music was on offer Saturday night and he wasn't bad at all, the location is perfect for exploring this region with the beach only a short walk from your room.

Review of 1770 Lagoons Apartments We recently stayed at 1770 Lagoons Apartments to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. While the website and photos may create a charming impression, the reality was rather ordinary given the price we paid. One of the biggest disappointments was the swimming lagoon. Despite the pleasant 28-degree weather, the water temperature was too cold for swimming, which was a letdown for our plans to enjoy the facilities. Additionally, the spa was out of service during our stay, effectively ruling out any water activities we had hoped to indulge in. Another concern was the designated smoking area, which was located right at the front of the apartments next to a highly visible gas cylinder. This arrangement felt uninviting and not well thought out for guests who smoke. We also encountered some misleading marketing regarding availability. Despite the booking site indicating that there was "1 room left," we found ourselves among only a handful of guests on the premises, which made the experience feel less exclusive. On a positive note, the apartment was surface clean, but had mouldy plaster board near the shower and a toilet that had a build up of filthy residue. However, the presence of bird mess around the property including the car park detracted from the overall cleanliness and ambiance. In summary, while 1770 Lagoons Apartments has potential, our experience did not match the expectations set by the promotional materials. We would recommend potential guests to consider these factors before making a booking.
