Location is great with many eateries and bars. Walkable to the main shopping areas. Clean and decent room. But aircon doesn’t work well even after changing to another room. My reason for the 3 stars review is my episode with the reception guy on duty. He wasn’t making it pleasant when I requested to change my room due to the air condition issue. As I stayed for a week and it was my 5th night and I took 1 hr to pack up he told me that he instructed me to pack up and go down to the reception to get my room changed in 15 mins. What a joke.

This hotel was one problem after another. Thankfully the front desk staff was really wonderful, but there’s only so much they can fix. The positive - spacious rooms, good location, and not too expensive. The negative - the rooms are poorly maintained, with lots of damage to parts of the bathroom. The design is also problematic, as the bathroom is walled off in glass so it lights up the whole room, and the place to hang your towels is above the toilet. The air conditioning didn’t effectively cool one of our rooms. The walls are so thin we had a real noise problem from the room next to us. And finally, the housekeeping - while the rooms were clean, we arrived to two different rooms to find two completely different sets of amenities, and no hand soap on either one. All in all, despite the great front desk, these were some of the worst nights I’ve ever had in a hotel.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HORRIBLE HOTEL!!! This was my profound dissatisfaction with my recent stay at this so-called four-star hotel. The experience was not only disappointing but utterly unacceptable, leaving me questioning how this hotel maintain such a misleading rating. The combination of a power malfunction, complete lack of air-conditioning, and unhelpful staff has ensured that I will never recommend your establishment to anyone. Let me begin with the power malfunction that left my room in complete darkness at midnight. After a long day of travel, I returned to my room, exhausted and looking forward to a comfortable night’s sleep. Instead, I was met with a stifling atmosphere devoid of any air-conditioning and lighting. The lighting suddenly went off during mid-night. It was as if I had stepped into a third-world country, not a so-called 4-star hotel. In a place that claims to provide superior service and amenities, the absence of basic lighting and climate control is simply inexcusable. What made matters worse was the complete lack of support from your staff. When I called the front desk to report the issue, I was met with a level of indifference that was shocking. The staff were not only unhelpful but appeared utterly disinterested in resolving the problem. Their response was dismissive, as they informed me that they were aware of the air-conditioning issues but could do nothing to assist. Even though I have to figure out solution for them as I asked for providing fan for better ventilation. But the staff won't even send the fan to my room but instead sending up inside the elevator and asked me to go to the elevator to get by myself during midnight. This is not merely poor service; it is a blatant failure of duty. I expect a hotel, especially one that prides itself on being a four-star establishment, to take immediate action in such situations, not to brush off guests’ concerns with apathetic responses. Instead of feeling like a valued guest, I felt more like an inconvenience. The staff’s inability to provide even the most basic assistance is indicative of a severe lack of training and management. It’s astounding how a hotel can operate with such incompetence. I have stayed at numerous hotels, ranging from budget to luxury, and have never encountered such a lack of professionalism and care. The discomfort of being trapped in a dark, hot room at midnight is something I will not soon forget. I expected a night of restful sleep, but instead, I spent the night tossing and turning, overwhelmed by the heat. This experience is not what I signed up for when I booked a stay at your hotel. I chose your establishment based on its reputation, only to find that it falls woefully short of expectations. It is unacceptable for a hotel to offer such a subpar experience while branding itself as a luxury establishment.
