I highly recommend choosing this hotel! The location is the best! There is a wonderful market nearby with all the freshest produce. In addition, there are healthy food cafes and streets with beautiful views. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, very clean and ecological! We understood from the first moment that we were very welcome at the hotel - welcome drinks and a handwritten dedication with a sweet bite were waiting for us in the room. A real gem in the middle of a wonderful town!

We got a free upgrade to the apartment that is across the small courtyard garden, were one can sit outside. The breakfast with a good selection was served from 8:00 We parked our car in the central parking garage ~150 m away from the hotel. Even in the apartment that is away from the street, the street noise could be heard. We would have preferred somewhat harder bed matresses.

My husband and I spent two nights at 19 Tile in July and really enjoyed the location of this hotel. We were just steps from the Fruit Market and very close to the Parque D. Carlos. Everyone we dealt with (reception, restaurant and housekeeping) was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Thank you Maryna and Aline! We stayed in one of the small rooms on the first floor that faces the street. The shutters did a great job of keeping the outside noises out while we slept, and we loved opening the shutters and curtains in the morning and seeing a “slice” of life in Caldas. The place was clean, the a/c kept the room comfortable and cool, and the breakfast was very complete and delicious. We found parking nearby.  We loved our visit to Caldas and staying at 19 Tile and plan to return to both in the future.
