Our recent stay was truly fantastic, offering everything a family could wish for and more. The location was absolutely ideal, putting us right where we wanted to be for exploring. Our room was incredibly comfortable and cozy, providing a lovely retreat after busy days. What really stood out were the outstanding facilities for families. There was so much to keep everyone entertained, making our trip stress-free and enjoyable. And the food? Simply exceptional! Breakfast was a delight, with a fantastic variety of delicious options. The only minor downside, especially given the recent heatwave, was the lack of easily accessible drinking water facilities. It would have been much appreciated to have more options for staying hydrated around the hotel, particularly during such hot weather. Despite this small point, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for a top-notch experience with amazing food and amenities.
I have been going to Coylumbridge since is was owned by Stakis. The age is notable but that holds a certain charm to it. We were welcomed warmly by Ross who was very pleasant with me and the kids. The hotel itself has great amenities for the kids with a fun house, outdoor play area and indoor swimming pool. Aviemore itself is the best place in Scotland to spend a weekend. I’ll be back
Came to the hotel on Friday as it was my son’s birthday for 2 nights. Unfortunately extremely disappointed and will not be back. 2 of the woman at reception where very rude when asking questions , had a few problems with key cards getting into the room even after 30 seconds from getting it fixed. Food was terrible and over priced. Actually booked a room in the hotel but was placed in the annex courtyard where the room really needs updated. Struggled to get parked and nearly left after 1 night. Very disappointing for spending almost £400 just for the 2 nights. Feel like it was a waste of money and just didn’t feel like a get away at all. Definitely won’t be back. I will say the gentleman at the nook who served us a couple times was lovely and was probably the only nice thing about the weekend
