Horrible hotel! We checked into the first room, which had no hot water. After that, we were checked into another one. The room was even worse. There was a horrible, huge, moldy stain on the ceiling in the bathroom. There was a cockroach running around the room. There was no one at the reception, they just ignored us when we called. Don't believe the photos on the booking sites!

I booked this place because I wanted explore Chinatown and it was a huge mistake. This is not even up to the standard of a two-star hotel. I have never left a hotel before the end of my booking, but this place was so nasty and actually unsafe that I left early. The first night I notified them of very serious issues. The second night nothing had been done about them so I was out of there. When I first arrived I noticed everything was quite run-down and not like the photos I had seen. This is pretty normal as often a lot of time has passed since they were first uploaded and I didn’t hold it against them. I got my room (#206) and it had a very unpleasant odor. The bed sheets had tears in them. The fixtures in the bathroom were leaking so water was everywhere. In other reviews they mentioned the padlock that is used to close the door. It was even worse than I imagined. The doors don’t even fully fill out the door frame so people can see into your room. It’s more like a bathroom stall door. I opened the fridge to get a bottle of water and there was still one half empty probably from the previous guest. When I left my room to go explore, the elevator wouldn’t come up to my floor. I walked down the stairs and I saw it stuck on the 1st floor continually opening and closing. This is nightmarish and needless to say I didn’t use it again. Housekeeping did not clean or change anything. When trying to take a shower, everything was straining (making noises) which suggested plumbing problems. I actually thought pipes were going to burst based on the increasing creaking noises. There was rust everywhere, the ceiling had water damage and pieces were actually falling down. I informed the staff of the issues and nothing was done. I decided to check out early and go somewhere else. On my way out I saw 2 other groups leaving under similar circumstances. I warned the staff that things are actually unsafe, not just unsanitary. This place may have gotten its score based on bookings in the past. Now, unless they fix things, stay far away from here.

The location is only good thing avout that hotel. The towels and bedding were a bit dirty, the AC was flooding our room, and once we had a cockroach. The door could be better too as we could hear everything from the corridor.
