I had a very pleasant stay at this beautiful and original hotel. My room was spacious and had everything I needed — by the way, the shower gel and shampoo provided are excellent and smell really nice. The breakfast was also of very high quality, definitely not your average hotel buffet. I really have nothing to complain about. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful, even though you could tell they were under a bit of pressure at times when many guests arrived at once. Overall, a great experience — highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at the hotel in May. We were delayed in getting to the hotel and when we arrived the team were really great and got us checked immediately to a fantastic room. During the whole of the stay the team were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is ideally located near to the main attractions which made getting around on foot very easy. The rooms are spacious bright and have very large windows letting in lots of light. They are set out perfectly and we had plenty of room and comfort during our week long stay. We definitely recommend the hotel and will be going back when we next visit this great city.

Pros: comfortable beds, nice atmosphere. Good location. Cons: Some of the staff are really rude to the guests. The hallway carpets are stained, bikes are all broken. The rooms are small. Lots of items and furniture are damaged and run down. The design looks much better in photos than in person. Housekeeping walked into my room and turned the lights on at 9:30am. Air conditioning in my room stopped working mid stay. They don’t have a lot of overnight staff. Lots of stairs and nobody to help with bags. Half the rooms face the Main Street and are noisy. Prices are high for what you get, but even for 1/4 of the price I would not stay here again.
