Last minute booking. Reasonable price. Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly service. Only thing was we turned on the heater didn’t really warm up the room. Other than that we enjoyed our night. Definitely will have to come back and stay again.

What a great dog friendly Motel, the location was close to town and the service was very good. The room was nice and clean and well set out. The price was very reasonable and obviously the best part was I could have my furry friend with me. I would highly recommend 299 On Devon West Motel to travelers visiting the area especially ones with furry friends like my Rocky boy.

Rating: 0/10 – Unclean Room & Unprofessional Management I stayed at 299 On Devon West Motel and was disappointed with both the cleanliness of the room and the way management handled a valid concern. Upon going to bed, I noticed several short black hairs on different parts of the sheets, which should have been clean. There was also a visible buildup of dust on the ceiling fan, suggesting the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. I contacted the motel after checking out to raise this. The response from the owner was defensive and dismissive. I was told the issue could have been resolved if I’d called a 24-hour number—though this number was not clearly explained at check-in. The owner also attempted to shift blame to a commercial linen service, and implied I was “well-practised” in asking for refunds—an unfair and baseless assumption. The reality is simple: the room should have met basic hygiene standards to begin with. I didn’t ask for a full refund—just reasonable recognition of the inconvenience. Instead, I received no accountability. I suggest reading other reviews and the motel’s responses to see a pattern in how complaints are handled. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again.
