315 Bar And Restaurant

Went there for a business dinner and stayed overnight at the hotel afterwards. Dinner 1. Had swordfish tacos - the tacos were hard, not crunchy , but hard. The fish was not fresh 2. Lunch - had the chicken Ballotine, which was to die for. Very flavourful, and every bite was a delight 3. Cocktails - had the old Fashioned, which again, was an absolute delight ! 4. Desserts were very tasty and well presented. Rooms - were clean, the bed was comfortable. The weather was too warm, and they provided a cooler, which helped ! Breakfast - had poached egg on toast and some Coffee. The eggs were poached perfectly. The property has scenic views, and even had a spa which i could not use. Will return to experience the spa. Would definitely recommend this place ! Except for the starters, everything else was superb !

Needed somewhere to stay for two nights in the area for work. Booked 315 and was very pleasantly surprised. Comfortable room, hot and powerful shower in a spacious bathroom, decent bed and pillows, spacious desk to work at and a good amount of wardrobe space. Tea and coffee making facilities were fine as well. Staff friendly. Only regret is that I didn't get the chance to use the restaurant due to workload, so can't comment on the food. Be aware that if you are in rooms 9 or 10, you have a flight of stairs to contend with, which could be an issue if you have multiple heavy bags. Recommended.

Been here a few times and is usually nice!! We went for a family meal for my wife's 60th Birthday, there was 12 of us.....a lot had a beef roast dinner, but unfortunately when they brought the meals out they asked us who had ordered the beef pink!!!! Well non of us were asked how we wanted the beef cooking!!! so consequently a lot of us ended up swapping meat because some of the beef was cooked more than the others which was very disappointing because not everyone likes there beef pink!! Also I asked if my Grandson could have a small side portion of the stuffing balls to go with his lunch and they said " they couldn't " which i found ridiculous to say the least!!! I also said that one of us was 86 and had a wheelchair, but no provision for him when we got there, all the chairs were very difficult to get in to as we were on a long table in the conservatory.....and when you say that it's for a particular occasion most places maybe bring a small cake of some sort!! Or at least something!!! But nothing of the sort, so ultimately it maybe some time before we go back to 315. Best part was the view. REPLY I find your reply quite ironic because not one of my immediate family have there beef Pink, not even my 9 year old Grandson!!!!! Who's beef was indeed pink, and at no point was we asked otherwise, so whoever said they did was not actually telling the truth!!! Perhaps we should of sent them all back!!! Also if I'm not mistaken the roast actually comes with a stuffing ball of some sort, so what is the issue by not doing a few extra???
