Priceless view... perhaps among the best on the island for its location and distance from the sea... It's a shame that the apartments are old, the complex is old and shows despite how well kept it is, and the pools are dilapidated, non-functional, and a disgrace to look at... All this, however, seems to be overlooked when they launch rental and sales prices that are completely out of line... Be careful if you want to buy or rent! Ask for photos of the pools!!
Since various accommodations seem to be reviewed here, which is partly the owner's fault, as photos of several apartments are shown here, I would like to briefly mention that I stayed in the apartment in Las Americas (Ocean View by Suncanarias). Pros: Good location, great view, kitchen/fridge, pool area Cons: Check-in (and check-out) was complicated. It was difficult to arrange a time with the lady to hand over the keys, as she apparently had to "travel" there herself. I felt we should accommodate her a bit, as we had a rental car and were therefore flexible. But all in all, it worked out. The apartment itself is relatively chic, and the rooms are well laid out. There's a kitchenette (but the amenities are sparse). Unfortunately, the bathroom is very small, and everything sags very low. I'm 1.95 m (6'5") and could only see my upper body in the mirror (it sags very low). I also hit my head twice on the shower. The double bed is unfortunately much too small and not very comfortable. It's a maximum of 1.9 m long, so I couldn't lie stretched out in it. There's no air conditioning! For this reason, we left the windows and some of the doors (balcony and living room to the hallway) open at night to get some fresh air into the rooms. This unfortunately proved to be our downfall (and not only because of the street noise) once, when the door between the living room and the hallway slammed shut and the lock/handle slipped so badly that we couldn't open it. This upset the lady on the phone, and she asked us forcefully what we were doing, saying that it had never happened before. Then she apparently hadn't read her own reviews yet, because only later did we learn that the same thing had happened to a young guest before. Upon check-out, she wanted to give us a PIN code for a key box. We only received the code after asking for it over the phone, with an annoyed, energetic response (it was 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning). My conclusion: You could do so much more with this apartment! For less than €50, you could buy many useful things and significantly upgrade the apartment. A fan costs less than €20, a fresh new toilet brush less than €2 (e.g., from Ikea). To name just a few examples. Luckily, we were only there for three nights. The location and life in Las Americas made our stay unforgettable, despite the minor flaws. Unfortunately, I wouldn't book the apartment again.
