3BR House Sleeps 8 Close to Chester Zoo

Really good, spacious, big TV, tvs in main bedrooms, 3 bedrooms, 2 double beds, kids room has a single bed with top bunkbed (2 beds in kids room). Nice stylish big kitchen, with oven, electric stove, heating is automatic, dishwasher, washing machine, sofa near kitchen, small outdoor bbq area with outdoor table and chairs. Theres dvd player, TV has all channels and streaming apps including upstairs tvs with Netflix, Disney and YouTube. Windows can open. Bathroom has a big shower, bath and towels, towels drying rack. They have tea bags, coffee and sugar provided, (bring milk!) Sofas pull out to make more double beds in living room. Was amazing and spacious and stylish was great for the price better then hotels in area and close to zoo. Can walk to zoo from house. Near bus stop and pubs near by and can order takeaways near by or groceries. Tescos and McDonald's in Chester Town. Good Taxi service is King Kabs.

Great location and excellent communication by the owner in giving details and pass codes cannot fault. Beds very comfy and kitchen dining room well set out. Only reason why I couldn't give more stars was down to how clean the place was. Could do with a deep clean. Shower head needs replacing which indicated their Legionella management regime is not adequate. 3 spot lights were not working. Just needs some TLC

Nice layout, comfortable, not far from the Zoo or Chester centre. I was disappointed with the cleanliness in some areas though, the ridge along the top of the poorly fitting bath side panel is dirty, areas around the sink pedestal could be better, washer missing from the movable shower head so it leaks (still inside the shower cubicle), the fixed overhead large round shower head is dirty and/or rusty, unpleasant to have to stand under that. Finger slots on kitchen cupboards all needed cleaning as were sticky, as is the kitchen table, that needs a proper clean, not just a wipe over. The whicker place mats were full of bits. Garden is private and fenced which is nice, but is entirely covered in sharp stones, not a relaxing area, although chairs are provided, but the stones are noisy, and not suitable for children to play due to rough stones, considering there is a highchair and bunk beds, presumably various ages are expected. By the way, for the owners, the highchair straps only need to go through a wash, not left in the state they are in. The Bosch induction hob is nice but one of the saucepans is aluminium and is no good on induction hobs. All of this could be fixed easily, (garden surface a bit more difficult, might be OK for others) then I'd happily stay again.
