This is an excellent hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was large, clean and luxurious with a lovely soft bed. Make sure you visit the spa which has a wonderful pool, fun showers and a sauna and steam room. It’s a real treat and open to children from 10am - 2pm which seems sensible. My 8 year old loved it and we had a fun relaxing time. Make sure you include breakfast. The buffer may not be the largest but it is well presented and of the highest quality. In addition you have three chefs cooking off a menu of some great choices included in the price. An absolute must. The pool top terrace is a great place to hang out and the food is amazing. A special mention to their club sandwich. It was the best I have had at any hotel. This place is worth the trip to Faro.
I stayed in a single room for a week at the end of June / beginning of July 2025. The room was comfortable and spacious - I had a double-bed even though it was a single room. The cleaning staff are excellent - they came in twice a day and left everything spotless. They also provided two complimentary large bottles of water per day, which were much needed in the heat! The location is excellent - very central, and within easy walking distance of the bus station and train station. All in all, a very comfortable stay - which you would expect given the very high price!
We had a fantastic 4 night stay in Faro at this hotel. We booked last min so were grateful to find something good. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel as there’s plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel which provides flexibility on type of cuisine and the time that we want to eat. I find this better as I get to have a lye in and eat exactly what I want to eat than over eating at a breakfast buffet. They provided plenty of drinking water on a daily basis and coke cans in the fridge which was a nice touch. The staff were super friendly from start to finish! We felt extremely looked after. The cleaners did a fabulous job also and were always so friendly! The spa facilities were also great and the gym was great too. However I had a hydrating facial and my husband had one of the Japanese massages with a facial. For the price we paid I think the experience was extremely underwhelming. The lady carrying out the treatments didn’t engage with either of us to find out any concerns we had before the treatment. With the facial she cleansed, toned my skin then applied a mask and then removed it and added moisturiser. No facial steam/ any machines. I might aswell have done this myself in my room! It was nice to be pampered on holiday so I didn’t mind too much but I wouldn’t recommend the treatments at the spa.
