With all that is going on in the world, my wife and I chose to see more of Canada, and 45 Steps Inn was recommended to us by some friends. We drove from Ontario in anticipation of a great time, and we were not disappointed. The hosts greeted us as if we were family, and when we departed it was with hugs, and warm handshakes. Barbara and Thomas were a wealth of island knowledge, and steered us in the right direction every day. Food was fabulous, the rooms very clean and comfortable, and the architecture is amazing. I am sure anyone would have a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the property. This is a great opportunity to really see what Canada has to offer.
Barbara and Thomas were fantastic. Incredible food, atmosphere, and service. The rooms are beautiful with modern technology and each room has a semi-private patio with a spectacular ocean view. The 45 steps down to the ocean provides easy access to kilometres of quiet beach access for swimming, sea glassing or whatever else people do in the ocean (I’m not a beach guy).
We live on PEI but have done little traveling on the East end of the Island. We chose to spend 2 nights at 45 Steps to celebrate our 50th anniversary this past May, and do some exploring in that area. Barbara and Thomas were amazing hosts and our stay was wonderful. The suite we were in was luxurious and comfortable. Every need had been considered and provided. The food was great and Barbara went out of her way to satisfy our appetites. We loved the views from both our room and the dining area. Also enjoyed watching the humming birds from the windows while dining. Highly recommend this experience. Thank you Barbara and Thomas.
