We recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house in York. It was the perfect place to stay with such easy access to the centre of York. The owners have a very efficient arrangement with a local guest house, where you can park the car for £10 a day. Once parked we were able to walk in and out of York with everything being around 10 minutes away. The local high street is the perfect place for a beautiful breakfast before a day of exploring York. The house is beautifully presented with everything you need for a home away from home experience. The media room and all the games were a hit with our adult children. The beds were very comfortable and the house was equipped with plenty of essentials, meaning we didn’t have to shop for cleaning or bathroom supplies. We were able to communicate easily with the hosts and they were very responsive to our questions. We would definitely recommend this place for a stay in York. We live in Australia but will definitely be back next time we visit the UK.

Claire and Alistair were amazing. Their home is beautiful, well appointed and exactly as described. Within walking distance to great restaurants and cultural experiences. Perfect spot to use as your base camp for exploring York. I cannot wait to get back to York and stay again.

Fab stay for a group of 9 + 1 dog. Both houses (107 and 109) were comfortable, clean, warm, and spacious. The kitchen was spacious too and had basic cooking equipment to make our own dinner. Easy check-in, and plenty of board games that kept us entertained and a Sainsbury's Local was a stone's throw away. Location was near the train station and walkable distance to city centre :) The only downside is having 1 toilet to share between 5-6 people per house - you'll just have to make do.
