474 Buenos Aires Hotel

A great place to stay. The wheels were clean and new. I loved my bed and the hot water pressure. Oh my God were they both wonderful. Probably the best bed and shower that I’ve had in years. I did take the opportunity to take naps during the day and enjoyed spending extra time in bed during the morning. A fantastic location in Microcentro. Easy to get to everything. Very friendly staff to help with your needs also.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. Good location. Easy to walk to many spots around the city. Friendly and helpful staff. Big thanks for finding my item caught up in the towels going to the laundry. The rooms are large but, are a bit worn. Surprised as it says it was renovated a year ago, room had a badly cracked sink, the toilet was difficult to flush and the walls were banged up in spots. Rooms aren't soundproof from the hallway. Asked to use the pool and found out it is a couple of blocks away at an another location. Breakfast was nice, good pastries and fresh fruit. Heads up, any espresso coffee made with the espresso machine in the breakfast room are an additional cost. I was unaware of the price and ended up with a bill at checkout. Had a conversation with the manager and after a fair bit of back and forth the charge was waived which was appreciated. I wouldn't stay again as I was at two other hotels during my three week stay in Buenos Aires that were better overall from my experience.

To be fair rooms are nice, clean & spacious but this was probably my worst hotel experience in BA .. First off all check-in issues. I’ve received message few hours prior my check-in that they are not able to charge my card & they need me to provide CREDIT card otherwise booking will be cancelled. Luckily I was online but imagine I’m on plane or without coverage just to figure out upon arrival that my reservation was cancelled. But what made me laugh is the fact they charged me 100 usd for laundry (3 pieces), jumper, shirt & denim vest .. Seriously ? In 10 years of traveling around the globe this is hands down the top one hotel rip of .. Hope they at least used some magic potion :)
